My rockshaft position control lever has been getting lose to the point it would not hold position. I finally had to stop what I was doing and tighten it. I read where someone claimed they did this from under the seat without removing it. You decide if it s worth the pain and frustration to try it that way. This is the view from the back side under the suspension. I removed the seat and suspension to do it. I folded the seat forward and loosened the 4 bolts at the bottom so I could fish the seat switch wire out. I opted not to remove those 4 bolts because I think they would be a pain to realign the holes on. These take a 13mm socket. After disconnecting the seat switch wires and getting the plug fished out I removed the 4 bolts holding the seat to the slider. These take a 13mm socket on top and have to be held underneath with a 13mm wrench. After removing the rear bolts you have to slide the seat forward to get at the front bolts. Then you can pick the seat up and remove it. Next you remove the 4 bolts holding the suspension on. The rear bolts can be reached with a 9 long extension with a 13mm socket. The front bolts can be reached with no extension. After removing those 4 bolts you can lift the suspension assembly off. Next you want to remove the four 6mm bolts from the rear of the plastic pan. Then loosen the five 6mm fasteners at the front of the pan. These all take a 10mm socket. This allows you to lift the plastic pan up for a better visual. I propped it up with a piece of 2x4. Then you have to remove the two 6mm bolts holding the lever onto the rod assembly. Those require a 10mm socket. I had to use a ¼ drive pull handle to get them loose then I could get my ratchet in to remove them. The nut that tensions the rockshaft position control is 15mm and I tightened it with a wrench. Turn it just a little clockwise, reattach the lever and test. Don t do what I did and over tighten it. I ended up doing the whole operation twice. Assembly is in the reverse of disassembly.
