I bought a Case 310-G Crawler Loader a couple of weeks ago and finally got it to my shop. Over the winter, the tracks came off and I discovered multiple issues with the steering levers and differential. It seems like these loaders were built around some crazy design constraints. I heard the 310s are notorious for having small hydraulics holding a lot of pressure. Does anyone have experience fixing these kinds of issues? I would appreciate any advice or shared experiences. Seeing this thread I couldn’t help but think of a series I stumbled upon the other day and it dragged me right down the rabbit hole of “lost time on YouTube.” I realize it’s not the same but seemed like a similar flavor. YouTube “1950’s Caterpillar TraxCavator.”
