Cat 207c No Boom or Bucket Function

Actual Question

Top Replies

Hi Tractormech, I've had a similar issue with my Cat 297C. It turned out to be an ECM problem. I'd suggest checking the ECM connections and wiring. Sometimes a loose connection can cause these kinds of issues.

Hey there, make sure your hydraulic pump is running properly. If the pump fails, it can cause all sorts of hydraulic functions to stop. It might not always be an electrical issue.

Hello Tractormech, it might help to get a technician with a diagnostic tool to scan the machine. This could quickly zero in on what part might be failing.

Check the fuses and relays related to the boom and bucket functions. A blown fuse or faulty relay can cause these kinds of issues directly.
