How do you know when your governor needs adjustment or attention? I have a Yanmar diesel 3tna72uj, the 879 cc indirect injection engine used by John Deere in the F935, 755 CUT, 455 and 430 GTs. I have taken steps to keep my engine well maintained, fuel, air, oil, coolant, lines, injectors, glow plugs, etc. getting to and working on the governor seems like a careful and detailed job. I want to understand what to look for, and how to address issues as well as how do I know its operating as it should. Your insight and feedback is appreciated.
