That should be an easy one to do. If you pull the rubber boots up, you should see a nut that you can run down to where it makes contact again with the smaller valve tops. Then, snug it back down. That is a simple one.
I only see one 17 mm nut that Is as far down as it will go, and there is still a lot of play.
Hmmm. If the nut is all the way down, then there is probably a lot of wear in the joystick pivot area or it is time for rebuilding it.
Replace u-joint. Nut has nothing to do with adjusting slack.
