Looking for JD Backhoe Link...

Actual Question

Had mine welded a couple years ago and still holding. Problem is, it was welded crooked and forces the pin out. Thought about straightening it in the press but it may snap. I'd just have it welded again by my buddy for another 30 pack of Busch. Also had the "H" link welded as well (that cost is around 750 bucks from JD). When a pin breaks call it a day and fix it, these links snap like toothpicks! I was stupid and tried to finish digging the tree stump out, big dumb move! Good luck and let me know how you make out. BTW, my buddy really ground out the joint before putting it back together.

UPDATE: So I got a hold of another welding shop in Mason to talk to them about my problem. Talked to their customer service guy, super helpful. Send him pics of what was broke. He calls me back, "Oh yeah, we can weld that up no problem... but... IT'LL PROBABLY BE CHEAPER TO JUST BUY A NEW ONE." Lol, after I pick my phone up off the floor he tells me it'll be $200 for him to repair it. So, that's out of the budget. I ask him if he can weld me a new one out of 1" plate and DOM tubing. He says, oh yeah, we could do that no problem. How much? $400. LOL, yeah, no, next.
