Very sad indeed Terry. I had the pleasure of meeting him too. A very passionate maintenance professional. The world will remember him - I feel his colleagues at Staatoil will live long with the efforts Steve made to improve things. Regards Steve
I'm sorry to hear that this chap has gone. In the age of 40?
Terry and forum members, I am shocked to hear this news. Steven was more than a fellow forum member, he was a close friend. Steven did all the charts and illustrations for my second book "100 Years". He read the text and added some figures at his own initiative, offered suggestions to add value to the book. Just two weeks ago I requested him to do some illustrations for a paper I was writing - he did them in 24 hours, modifying one of my sketches to make it infinitely more appealing. Terry, I also asked him to co-author the book you suggested some time ago (the 101 for CMRP). I was planning to follow up with him this week. Steven was a wonderful person to work with a very warm and helpful nature - I can't believe I am writing this in the past tense. It is hard to get over this sense of disbelief. I pray for him. Vee
Death is the biggest truth of life. Nobody can deny. We humans, make plannings as if we will be living another 100 years but we don't know about the next second. We must realise the purpose of our creation....Its most important. Is this life just to prepare for this life only, OR may be there is something ahead coming for us in future, that we must worry about ???
