If its the same pump, you should be simply be able to throw the replacement one at it, it should have a governor built in like the old one if it's off a generator. I'm not too sure how the turbo works with it though, I assumed it had some type of advance lever to give more/less fuel depending on the amount of boost. Hopefully someone else is a little more clued up on this and will chime in.
The governor usually helps in managing the turbo boost and fuel mix efficiently. Make sure you cross-check the specifications of the replacement with the original one to avoid any mismatch.
I had a similar issue with my 297b cat. I swapped the fuel injectors and governor from the old pump to the new one, and it worked like a charm.
