Good day DanielMay be able to get a wiring diagram for you but not a manual.Kind regardsUffex
new machine to me. I am trying to determine if the pre-heat works . it does not show up on the display even in 34 degree temp. the operators manual and parts book show very little. does volvo keep all the repair manuals for their use only ? this is a 2016 machine , you would think complete manuals are available
Hi DanielTo the best of my knowledge Volvo have repair manuals indeed they sell these although most information is in the form of software, a system Volvo have used "Prosis" has most of the information as well as parts book. We can help directly with EC55 information that we have on file. Actually we guess there is little difference the product looks to be a Korean manufacture, if you believe this will help drop us a line.Kind regardsUffex
the ec55 may help if it uses the same display. at least it will give me an idea as to how the system works
Good day DanielAttached is the information re EC60Hope its of help.Kind regardsUffex
thanks, at least I have a starting point
That is for a C series and does not apply to an E series. Be forewarned.
Would it not be more helpful to send the guy the correct drawing instead of warnings!!!Kind regardsUffex
thank you all for the help. the drawings did give me info as to how the preheat system operates. I managed to reach a volvo dealer who had the same machine in inventory. he tested his machine, similar weather, and had same results. we concluded that the system must be set to activate at much colder ambient temperatures than we presently have. well winter is on the way so this question should be answered shortly
Thats good news Daniel thanks for coming back.
Daniel, Call up McClung in Wise and ask them to update the software for you. There is an update that changes the preheat function. With the new software the preheat should come on for 10 sec at 32FIt will just cost you a little labor. You can take the machine to their shop or If Eddie, Will or Dinger are in the area you may be able to get them to stop by and do a service call for not much more.
